About Shakes and Cakes
Shakes and Cakes is a cake shop serving Adamsdown, Cardiff. Head here for cakes – by the slice or whole for celebrations. It is one of 3 Shakes and Cakes locations we list across the UK.
We do not hold confirmed hours for this particular branch – station and shopping-centre branches often open earlier and close later than high-street ones. Food hygiene officers from Cardiff rated it 5 – Very good when they inspected on 21 May 2025.
If you are coming by train or tube, Cardiff Queen Street station is roughly a 15-minute walk. It is not the only option nearby: there are 4 more bakeries within a kilometre, so a bakery crawl is easily done. From central Cardiff it is roughly 1.0 mi away.
